Robert Tall has devoted most of his life to the study of music. His tenure at the University of Utah culminated in 1967 with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Music and Psychology. He has held important positions in churches and universities and continues his performance career as a concert organist, recording artist and clinician.

For twelve years he served as Principal Organist and Featured Artist at the famed Hollywood Bowl Easter Sunrise Services and now serves on the Board of Directors for that prestigious group. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Bach Society.

He is an active member of the American Guild of Organists, presently a member of the Los Angeles Chapter Executive Board of Directors. Having served in various positions, including Dean, Dr. Tall was the Convention Coordinator for the Los Angeles AGO National Convention, July 4-9, 2004. On the national level, he is currently serving a two-year term as Director of the Committee on National Conventions.

Dr. Tall is also an active recitalist and clinician. Among many honors, he was on of the nine organists invite to perform in the Virgil Fox Memorial recital at the famed Riverside Church in New York City, October 8, 2000. The event was recorded by Gothic Records, which remains to date one of the best selling CD's that company has ever produced.

Residing in Glendale, California, Robert devotes most of his time to his company and his music. Robert Tall & Associates, Inc.is one of the world's leading distributors of classical organs. For diversion, he enjoys scuba diving and bodybuilding. He continues to compete in his age class for California State Championships as member of the National Physique Committee.
