Noodling is a beginner's term for improvisation. This class will be helpful to those who want to freely play around on the keyboards, but feel tied to written music on the page. Improvisation can be learned. Dr. Tall's approach is logical and easy to learn; he teaches how to "noodle" as he explores the sounds of the MX200 as his audio tool.

You’ve heard about MIDI for years and have an idea or two about what MIDI has to offer you as an organist and musician. Yet, you’ve wanted to learn more but have never found the time and looking at technical manuals makes you sweat. Then this session is for you! We will explore at a practical hands-on level how to use MIDI, how it can expand your “musical palette” and how it can make your life as a musician easier. Experienced MIDI users are welcome to come share their knowledge with us as well!
